    Aarti and Joel | Wedding

Our friends at Brooke and Pedro asked me to second shoot this wedding with Pedro while Brooke was shooting another wedding! So I brought along my associate, Marc, and we headed up to Fort Wayne with Pedro to be with Aarti and Joel! You can check out our combined photos on Brooke and Pedro's Blog!

This was the first Indian wedding I had ever experienced, and it was so cool to learn about another culture!

    Ceremony: Scottish Rite Center

    Reception: Scottish Rite Center

    Entertainment: All Star DJs

    ^ Beautiful. Just beautiful.

^ I love the shots Marc did of Joel!

^ If this looks familiar, you must be a blog stalker. I was thinking about something creative to do with Aarti, and my girl Lerin came to mind. Check out the Dirty Dior shoot I did with Lerin, featuring a similar photo. ;)

^ Yes, blog stalkers... we're on a parking garage roof again. Hahaha

    ^ FAV

^ I love this one Marc took.

^ I love this. The family members came up and blessed the couple.

^ A Christian ceremony followed the Indian ceremony.

^ I love this shot that Marc got during cocktail hour.

^ Aarti's grandma flew over from India, along with many other relatives!

^ I loved Aarti's dad! He is an engineer, so of course I liked him!

    Congrats, Aarti and Joel!

    Allison and Josh | Wedding

While Jimmy and I were at Laurel Hall photographing Crystal and Robby's wedding, our Associate Photographers were downtown at the beautiful Omni Severin with Josh and Allison!

    Ceremony: Omni Severin

    Reception: Omni Severin

^ This is Jamie, Josh's best person. I think it's AWESOME that Josh had a lady as his Best Man! A wedding is a time to show the people you love how much they mean to you, and nothing says "You're my best friend!" by bucking tradition and having a lady as your Best Man!

Josh and Allison | Engagement | Purdue History Lesson Part 2

I'm sure you all remember the Purdue history lesson I gave in the blog post for Chad and Meghan's Engagement Session...

So we will continue with our lesson as we see the photos of Josh and Allison!

There's something interesting about this session I must mention... Jimmy and I didn't shoot a single frame during this session! We simply observed and assisted where needed. The three shooters were my associate photographers Marchelle, Marc, and Jen, who will be shooting Josh and Allison's wedding in November while we are shooting Crystal and Robby's wedding.

As we walked across the street from the parking garage, the Bell Tower was playing "Back Home Again in Indiana" and I nearly cried! I used to hear that every day!

^ Marchelle did the "creative" editing, and I love her style... the textures look really great on these fall photos!

    ^ FAV!

^ Hanging out at the Engineering Mall

^ Showing off their moves on the steps of the Purdue Memorial Union! I hear they will be doing a special dance at their wedding!

    ^ FAV!

^ Purdue Bell Tower!!! Read Chad and Meghan's blog post to learn more about the traditions surrounding this landmark!

^ This arch wasn't there when I was at Purdue.

    ^ Brave, brave people

^ Sorry to post so many photos of your butt, Ali... but it's a cute butt! Hahaha! :)

^ Purdue is perpetually under construction. This is near the Engineering Mall.

^ And, we already know about the griffin...

^ And finally, Josh and I were able to visit our home away from home, the best building on campus... KNOY!

^ These photos were taken at the Michael Golden Lab (or MGL), which is connected to KNOY, where I spent a fair amount of time programming robots, learning to weld, and running an engine lathe. Josh majored in IT, so he would have spent some time here too.

^ Josh and Allison's dog Lulu and their cool house, which Allison calls the "Elf House."

    ^ FAV!

^ We were lucky enough to encounter the Boilermaker Special while walking by the Purdue Memorial Mall. Thanks to the folks from the Reamer Club that stopped and let us snap some shots!

^ More fun at the Union!

^ Most Purdue students read The Exponent every day!

    ^ The Elf House!

    ^ Serious bling!

    ^ HELLO pretty eyes!!

Josh and Allison, I wish I could be there with you on your wedding day, but I'm leaving you in good hands!! ;)
